Frequently asked questions

When are you open?

We are open to the public Wednesdays through to Sundays from 9am until 4pm. Many areas of the sanctuary are inaccessible without a guided tour. Tours of the sanctuary begin at 4pm and go for one hour until 5pm. Tours must be booked.

We are closed Mondays and Tuesdays. We may be able to open for group bookings outside these hours. Get in touch to enquire about this.

How can I book a tour?

You can book a tour right here online. Go to the 'BOOK A TOUR' menu option and follow the instructions. If you are having trouble booking online or you'd prefer to book over the phone and pay in person, please call Trevor on 0408 695 958.

Do you accept school or community groups?

Absolutely! All group bookings should be made via email. Please contact us using the contact form on this website. If you have a small group under 10 members and would just like to book for our regular tour, you can do so here on the website. Please make a note with your booking that you are part of a group and what your interest is so that Trevor can tailor the information on the tour for you.

How can I get involved?

The sancturay is run in conjunction with the Australian Ecosystems Foundation Inc. AEFI is a not-for-profit registered environmental organisation dedicated to saving Australian wildlife by protecting habitats and maintaining natural ecological processes. We do accept volunteers and take donations and support for various projects through our website.

What about the cafe on site?

We have an on site vegan cafe that serves a variety of plant based treats and coffee. For up to date information on the cafe and their opening hours and functions, head to their website
